The Sig Sauer P226 is the pistol that set the standard by which all other combat handguns are measured. Designed as Sig’s entrant in the military trials to replace the 1911, today the P226 is the sidearm of choice for many law enforcement, military, and government agencies around the world, including Canada’s own elite Joint Task Force 2 and the U.S Navy SEALs.

In addition, the P226 Enhanced Elite model comes with all of the features of the regular P226 with some additional functional and operational enhancements. The Elite series models come with an extended beavertail and front strap checkering for an even more positive grip, front cocking serrations, SIGLITE night sights, and Sig’s Short Reset Trigger (SRT) system, which eliminates all slack on the reset and enables a more efficiently quick rate of fire.
