In short, the 1911 pistols from SIG SAUER® feature all stainless steel frames and slides machined to exacting tolerances and hand-fitted to ensure reliability and performance. Also, like all SIG SAUER products, the 1911 contains only premium internal parts including a match grade barrel, hammer/sear set, and trigger. The slide sports adjustable night sights. The frame features 25-line per inch checkering on the front strap and 20-lines per inch on the mainspring housing and is complemented by a set of checkered custom wood grips. Both the frame and slide on the 1911 are de-horned making it ideal for perfect full-size concealed carry. For safety the SIG SAUER 1911 features a beavertail grip safety with speed bump, extended thumb safety, firing pin safety and hammer intercept notch. This model features an engraved and polished Nitron slide with gold inlay. The grips are also exclusive custom Texas Star Wood Grips.
Besides, Sig Sauer’s 1911 Engraved Texas edition features scrolled engraving on a polished Nitron slide with gold accents and custom Texas redwood grips emblazoned with the Texas star. Also, the top of the slide has an engraved Texas state seal, with “LONE STAR STATE” on one side, and “The enemy never sees the backs of my Texans!” General Robert E. Lee on the other side. A beautiful full size 1911, this Engraved Texas model features a black hard coat anodized beavertail frame, a combat hammer, skeletonized trigger, and low profile night sights.
