Glock 34 Gen4 MOS Description:
The Glock 34 Gen4, in 9×19, introduces revolutionary design changes to the tactical/practical Glock designed to be the same overall length as the Government Model 1911 pistols. The modular backstrap design lets you instantly customize its grip to adapt to an individual shooter’s hand size. The surface of the frame employs Glock’s scientifically-designed, real-world-tested, Gen4 rough textured technology. Internally, the Glock dual recoil spring assembly substantially increases the life of the system. A reversible enlarged magazine catch, changeable in seconds, accommodates left or right-handed operators.
Also, the Glock is universally regarded as the most reliable pistol in the world. For instance, all Glock pistols had the “Safe Action” System. Firstly, this system consists of three passive safeties (trigger, firing pin, drop), eliminating the need for an external safety and simplifying the operation of the firearm. Secondly, Glock frames are made of highly resistant reinforced polymer, reducing pistol weight and significantly increasing durability. Also, its polymer makeup gives it resistance to all climates, corrosion, and lubricants.
In addition, the Gen4 models all come with enlarged, reversible magazine releases. A dual recoil spring replaces the original one for added durability and substantially increased life. MOS
The Modular Optic System (MOS) variant is the newest member of the Glock line. The MOS line is available for the target/competition line of Glocks and comes with a cutout rear portion of the slide that is ready to accept reflex sights. It simplifies the mounting of popular optic sights without costly custom alterations of the pistol’s warrantied slide.
